nog eentje

Well then, here's one of motroracing's rising stars, ben Spies. The Texan has won 4 titles in a row. 2006, 2007 & 2008 AMA Superbike champion and 2009 WSBK champion. He will move into GP's for 2010 and beyond. However, a fifth straight title is nearly impossible but hey who would have thought that Hayden would become champ with only 3 career GP wins since his debut in 2003...

nog wat spelen

Troy's final appearance in MotoGP, a guest ride with Marlboro Ducati in Valencia 2006. It was a "gift" for his second WSBK title and Gibernau was still injured after his crash in Estoril. He qualified 2nd and when on to win the race in dominating fashion. In one way, it's a shame that it happened right there and then since it was the grand finale of the MotoGP championship and all the attention went to Rossi and Hayden.

Test

My first trip abroad for a motorcycle race.

Bennett's British Superbike Championship 2006, Round 1, Brands Hatch Indy.

Reigning Champions GSE racing with Gregorio Lavilla kept the same rider pairing after their highly successful 2005 BSB season. Standing in for the injured James haydon, Gregorio Lavilla jumped on the #18 Ducati 999 F04 and gelled immediatley with team and bike. As a result, Haydon was dropped from the team when he was supposed to make his return and lavilla went on the win the title in 2005. Pictures here, Greg and Leon Haslam at Druids.
